Product Description
While the industry uses the term spacers and standoffs often times interchangeably, Lyn-Tron Spacers are used to describe the unthreaded standoff. Spacers come in multiple different lengths and diameters. Most often chosen based on the Screw Size, Spacers are used to create space between circuit boards while still allowing for a screw to pass through and fastening everything in place. While the spacer is unthreaded, the ID is made to create just enough room to allow for specific sized screws to pass through. Because of the tight tolerances on the ID, spacers moving around is kept to a minimum. These products are extremely versatile and are used in nearly every industry. You will often see them being used as washers, tubing, bearings and pivot points. The round shape provide a nice finished look. Brass is corrosion resistant, nonmagnetic, and easily machinable. Base metal is yellow, but many plating options are available when different colors are required.
