Product Description
Male ball studs are a spring catch style fastener and ideal for applications where repeated engagement and disengagement are required. These are a popular choice for electrical panels, access doors, cabinet doors and other sheet metal enclosures. Different tensions with the same stud can be achieved depending on the Ball-Stud Speed Clip* chosen. The hex shape allows for greater torquing as the flat sides allow for wrench tightening. Steel is inexpensive, easy to achieve finer surface quality requirements and provides relatively high strength properties. Multiple plating options are available to increase the material's corrosion resistance and alter its appearance.
