Product Description

A chassis fastener was designed to be attached to the chassis or case of a computer. Like swage standoffs and spacers, these parts are fastened by swaging the part in place for a permanent attachment. The location of the thread in relation to the mounting surface makes these parts unique. As the thread runs parallel to the mounted surface, these fasteners create new anchor points not possible with other hardware. The square allows for maxium torqueing as the four flat sides allow for wrench tightening. Aluminum is widely used in Aerospace applications due to its high strength to weight properties.
