Product Description
Captive Panel Retainers offer a retaining option for captive panel screw products. These are commonly used in sheet metal products when a threaded hole is not able to be manufactured into the panel. Multiple styles of captive panel retainers are available and allow for different installation methods, the use of retaining rings, and springs. The round shape provide a nice finished look. Steel is inexpensive, easy to achieve finer surface quality requirements and provides relatively high strength properties. Multiple plating options are available to increase the material's corrosion resistance and alter its appearance.
